If I had to pick one thing that just feels 'better' with Google, it's single sign on. I prefer Gmail to Outlook, but again that's a personal preference. I run an entire business out of workspace, but wouldn't be upset doing the same with O365. Use the settings search in either to get what you want. That said, syncing standard folders like desktop, documents, etc is much much smoother/integrated in OneDrive. Only quirk lately has been with the modified dates. Yes they offer a feature to redirect your folders into OneDrive, though you can set them manually in Windows which is what I opted to do. I use an app on my iPhone called PhotoSync that is pretty robust in syncing photos to pretty much any destination. I don’t use the auto upload feature on iPhone because when I moved over, it didn’t support OD Business accounts, though I think it does now. You can restore Gmail messages up to 30 days. You can restore Shared and user drives up to 25 days. With Google: You can restore a single user (or users) up to 20 days. I moved from GSuite to 365 a few years ago and haven’t looked back. Whether a third-party backup is necessary depends entirely on what your requirements and expectations are. So every app and Windows itself have problems, as they can’t find those folders. The software mounts a virtual drive and that’s done after the system already booted up. These platforms often support a set of conversations in a private workspace, with persistent channels or threads. But unfortunately that’s impossible in Google Drive. Second: Due to the amount of data, I am using drive file stream and the problem is, that I used to move Windows document, pictures, etc folders into a synced folder, when I used Dropbox. At first, there is no such thing as photo upload on iPhone and iPad. While mail and calendar are working fine, I am having some problems with Google Drive and it’s clients. Using Google Workspace and my most important features/services are mail, calendar and drive. But I am a private user without any business or team.
